Our Projects and Clients
Through the years we have had the opportunity to work on many exciting (and some not-so exciting) projects. These are a few of our more visible or more interesting projects.
Depressed Press has headed the design effort of the First Night Boston web site for 10 years (1996 to 2006). Although we've left the Boston area FirstNight.org is a great example or our ability to maintain high-volume sites receiving hundreds-of-thousands of visitors.
Jim Davis, the principal of Depressed Press, has been a full time web application developer at New England Financial (now a fully owned business unit of MetLife) for many years now. His work has focused on the implementation of financial management software, user interface design, and web site architecture.
Working on a consulting basis the Depressed Press built several intelligent agents for this Fortune 500's Investor Relations section.
Litton/PRC
Litton/PRC is a 5000+ person company specializing in information management systems. On a short sub-contract basis we created functional prototypes for information gathering systems and computer-based training systems. These systems were presented as possible solutions to research and training problems facing the Virginia state police force.
Virtually Wired Educational Foundation
We worked, off and on, for several years with this non-profit public computer and Internet access facility designing and maintaining their web presence. It's unfortunate that poor funding has forced this excellent Boston resource to close.
